The purchase itself was smooth and the tool arrived promptly. At the time this was the best price anywhere, and I'm very satisfied with the whole process. I own a Leatherman Blast, and I like this one better. I can attest to the
other reviewers experience: some of the black finish comes off in your hands durign the first few days, but once is done the color stays. Please note that if handled roughly the color will scratch and may come off completely on certain areas, but I handle my tools with care and it doesn't bother me. The knife blades open with one hand (thumb holes) and it doesn't require to fully open the tool (as with the Blast). I also purchased the Leatherman 934870 40 Bit Assortment with Nylon Sheath (which I also reviewed) and it really added value to the instrument. The nylon sheath is very secure with velcro and allowed me to place a Magnesium fire starter and a sharpener. You can always find this tool in my car (as EDC).
