At work I need to wear slacks and a button down shirt. I already carry a cellphone holster (sometimes two) and a flashlight on my belt, and adding the holstered Wave tends to make me look like a Batman wannabe... The clip allows me to carry the Wave discretely in my pants pocket. It's easy to attach, works as advertised and is inexpensive. I gave it four stars because it's an item that I think should be included with the Wave itself. All said, it's a good product and I will purchase one for my other Wave.Customer Review: Works....but....

I bought this for the pocket clip only. It works like a charm. It attaches to my leatherman wave very securely.
My only major gripe about the pocket clip is that it should have a thin rubber or plastic lining inside where the clip meets your pant pocket and rests. This clip has been tearing my jeans pocket seams up. I'll just put some black electrical tape in there or something. I never used the lanyard ring so I can't comment on that.

I really like the clip because I like to wear the wave on my belt at work and take it off at home.
The sheath is more of a hassle to take off.
The only problem is the clip breaks if the tool hangs up on anything.
I'm on my 3rd one but I like to carry it this way so I guess I will just keep buying more.

Works as my original Pocket Clip that came with my Charge ALX.
The clip itself is not expensive, shipping cost, however, was pretty substantial when you compared this with the product price.

These are great! Makes the leatherman even more handy, without having to use a case etc. I like them. Just what I wanted. Real easy to snap on and they do hold, like premanent.
