The pocket clip works perfectly as advertised. It only works as a pocket clip and not as a belt clip since the weight of the WAVE will cause the tool to fall open over time, and that is not desirable. The lanyard ring is also handy to use in place of the WAVE internal ring. You can use a larger cord due to the larger size, and keep the lanyard with the ring attached in the fishing box,or tool box, for quick use when needed.Customer Review: A real versatizer

Not a lot to say here,the clip adds one more carry option and the lanyard ring yet onother option.The clip works as it should,it's quality made,it's easy to attatch and remove and it holds my heavy leatherman surge firmly in my pocket.The lanyard ring is just as effective in accomplishing it's task.I haven't used it yet and probably will only use it while kayaking but like the clip,it's well made and works well.Customer Review: Keep your leatherman in your pocket.

This clip is perfect if you'd like to keep your leatherman on you, but don't want to have it visible on your belt. The clip's grip is secure. Use it if you want to carry your leatherman with a "lower profile".
I don't use the lanyard ring, so no comment.

This diddy slips in quickly and nicely on my wave and surge. A great option when needing to be stealthy. It's been durable and keeps the MT from moving around in my pocket. Wish more stores had this and the bit set although Amazon service was excellent.Customer Review: clip

The pocket clip works great, its even bendable to give it just the amount of pressure you want. Probably should have come with the tool but oh well. Mounts/dismounts quickly and solidly on my wave giving me lots more options for carrying it. a good buy
