This is a very good accessory for the new Wave multitool. I have not used the lanyard ring (I will just use the built in ring) but I like the pocket clip very much.
It is very easy to attach, and I have had no issues or concerns with the clip detaching unexpectedly.
I can keep the clip attached to the tool when I am using the leather sheath, but the clip is very handy when I do not want to carry the sheath.
This is a big improvement over having the tool floating around in my pocket.

Nice simple one piece design is very durable. Keeps your Leatherman right at hand without the bulky case and moves from work belt to weekend belt without the need to rethread the loops if you forget before you put your belt on. Only downside is that the tool can snag and be pulled open when clipped to your belt. It still stays put but not as elegantly. I have not made use of the lanyard ring but the change between the two items is quick and easy (can't use both at the same time though).Customer Review: Great addition to your Leatherman tool

One of these clips came with my Leatherman Charge Ti, and prior to that I'd never thought that I could pocket carry a multi-tool as large as the Charge. But I gave it a try, and it's actually not all that much more bulky than some pocket knives that you'd normally wear clipped in the same spot. So I had to purchase one for my Wave so it would have the same functionality. I don't know what I will do with the lanyard ring. I carry my leatherman wave in my jeans tool pocket. I have too much stuff on my belt already to add the leatherman case. The pocket clip will keep the wave from falling out when I stand on my head, Eh? For no more than they cost I would sugest them as a great bargin. AND, if you climb or are around the water you might want a lanyard on your leatherman. With this ring it can be easily un-hooked from a lanyard.Customer Review: Good choice for Wave, Charge and Surge models only!

This is an excellent accessory kit for the current Leatherman Wave,Charge and Surge multi tools, but FOR THOSE MODELS ONLY! These items do not fit any other Leatherman tool, yet I have several times received email ads from Amazon offering them as recommended items for my recently purchased Leatherman Juice S2 (love it, BTW.) There doesn't seem to be a way to get through to Amazon on this point, so be aware before you consider purchasing these accessories.
