It even permits holstering the Wave in the open pliers position and allows for vertical and horizontal carrying. Customer Review: Upgrade over the nylon

I've had the leather sheath for about a month and I am very happy with my purchase. My old sheath was the nylon one. Although it served me well for about one year, Its main disadvantage is the velcro closure wears out. The only advantages of the nylon is it's slightly less bulky, and there is no break in period. The leather sheath takes a little breaking in and getting used to but otherwise works perfectly. Gotta love the snap! My only complaint to Leatherman is I would like to see a brown leather sheath.
