Customer Review: Packs everything in a small package

I ordered my Leatherman ALX in black so it came with the MOLLE capable "belt" sheath. It most definitely is MOLLE but as a belt sheath left a lot to be desired, so I ordered this one. WOW what a difference this made to my everyday carry. It's such a heavy load anyway but the size (bulk) was my biggest issue. The new sheath took over 1/2 an inch of vertical length and 3/16" of depth (thickness) off from the other pouch. In addition with the side sleeves on this sheath I am now able to carry my bit extension enabling me to use my MT for many additional tasks each day.
PROS:
Slimmer, narrower, shorter design
Side sleeves for bit extension
bit set sleeve
option for horizontal carry (though it looks kinda flimsy and I haven't had the guts to try it)
CONS:
Seems less rugged (I expect to have to replace after two years of everyday hard use)
Not quick detachable
Velcro flap doesn't reach the bottom of pouch
Side panels, due to the sleeves, are elastic and are already showing signs of stretching. (I think this is just the normal wearing in and I don't expect it to get worse soon)
BOTTOM LINE:
Highly recommended for the daily carrier of MT's because of reduced size/weight and increased capabilities.
