The tool is very sturdy and has many features that you never knew you needed. Overall if you are in the market for this kind of tool I would highly recommend it. I considered going with the black version, but I read that the black coating can pretty easily rub off on your hands while using the tool. Silver looks fine anyway.Customer Review: Leatherman 300

Purchased for a colleague. The pliers are a bit larger (too large for my flight bag); which is useful for removing the lids from 44 Gal fuel drums in remote areas. This is an item I bought for my grab and go bag. I thought it would be very useful to have a multipurpose handy
for any emergency situation. This tool does fit the bill it will do it's job. I think it is a better tool to have
than carrying around a tool box.
I will say this though for the money and the quality let me STRESS QUALITY. I think the Victorinox is a better quality tool read peoples reviews and you will see.
I own the victorinox rescue tool and I cant emphasize enough the quality of their products over leatherman.
I don't like to return things and this tool will do the job, even though I prefer Victorinox

The Super Tool-300 has many features and is very robust. The only downside is that a tool built this well comes with a weight penalty and its a bit too heavy for carrying around on my mountain bike. I purchased the Super Tool-300 to replace my older style Leatherman that I was going to pass on to my son however the older model is better suited for MTB's so my son will have to wait.
