The Freestyle CX boasts long-lasting, multi-purpose strength in a pocket-size 3.45-inch frame. This multi-tool features DLC coating for scratch and corrosion resistance as well as a 154CM stainless steel blade that will hold its edge three-times as long as a traditional stainless steel knife. A carbon-fiber handle insert allows the CX to offer a superior strength to weight ratio.

About Leatherman: Time-Tested Tools
On a low-budget trip through Europe in 1975, recent college graduate Tim Leatherman faced a number of impromptu "fix-it" situations that his traditional pocket knife couldn't help with. The freestyle multi tool is perfect once I figured out what I look for most when I need a tool. I have an older leatherman that has tons of stuff, but i rarely carry it due to its size and didnt find most of it useful. I am in the military and this one clips onto my belt with no holster and is really light. Blade opens easily without having to open the tool and is SUPER sharp. The pliers are really handy and the handles are comfortable. If I want to use a screwdriver I have to go look for one but it works better than any screwdriver on a multitool. The pliers and blade on this one both work great.
