Customer Review: Great multitool! Bit "iffy" on the bit set

I find this to be a great multitool. Has everything I need and a bit more. Quality seems excellent and still has the 25 year warranty which gives me peace of mind. No complains at all.
I didn't give it a 5 star rating because I find the bit set somewhat of a nonsense. Ok, you buy the combo and you get 6 bits... fine.... but why would they give you only 6 bits when the plastic fits 10 ??? I mean you don't get the Philips #0 and #3 for example and if you wanted to get them you would have to buy the whole 20 bit set which would duplicate many of the bits you already have. My point is: if they are already shipping you a plastic that can hold ten bits why doesn't leatherman fill it up with another 4 bits of the most used ones and you're done?
Anyway I think it is a great product. I highly recommend it.
P.s. Buy the extension it is a great addition to the set.

I've been using it for quite a while now and I appreciate it everyday a bit more. It's just been so handy having it around.
It's really a super tool. I was always skeptical about how handy and useful it would be in the end.... but they are definitively great tools!!!

Pro's: Great design and function. Well made heavy duty multi-tool. Blades come sharp right out the box. I have to say I am amazed with the scissors. I am extremely impressed at how great they work! Standard carry case is not top notch but still pretty good. I like that you can carry it sideways on the belt. If you are looking for a tool that helps in a pinch and won't turn to junk minutes after use this is the one to buy. Are there better? For sure. But you can rest assure that the product is great for its price.
Con's: If this thing came with a leatherpunch I would have gave it 5 stars.

Product is very rugged, made from quality materials. I ordered two of these tools and am very satisfied. One of the two requires more force to pivot one side of the pliers in order to fold up the tool when that function is no longer needed - oiling made no difference. The life-time warranty might be useful in this matter.

I bought this for my son-in-law who lives in Alaska. He had another model that kept closing up onto his hands while he was using it. He loves this. He raves to everyone how great this leatherman is and how wonderful I was to buy it. (My daughter gave me the hint that he wanted it.) I will be buying my grandson one in a few more years. Great item!
