Description of Leatherman 64010103H Silver MicraLess than half the size of any other Leatherman tool, the Micra is easily carried in a pocket, on a key ring, or in a purse. Closing to 2-1/2 inches and weighing just 1.75 ounces, this is unlike any pocketknife or multipurpose tool you've seen. The Micra features scissors, clip-point knife, tweezers, nail file/cleaner, flat Phillips screwdriver, extra-small screwdriver, medium screwdriver, bottle opener, ruler, and lanyard attachment. The Micra's ultracompact design harbors 10 tools and weighs only 1-3/4 ounces, so it really is small and light enough to be carried comfortably in a pocket or on a key chain. The scissors on the Micra are extremely effective, and the tweezers don't detach (and get lost), as do those on traditional pocketknives. The Micra features stainless-steel components, including the scissors, a clip-point knife, tweezers, a nail file/cleaner, screwdrivers, a bottle opener, a ruler, and a lanyard attachment.
Tools and Hardware Reviews of Leatherman 64010103H Silver MicraCustomer Review: I wish I'd had this for years! Summary: 5 Stars
I have to admit, I haven't actually used my Micra as much as some people, but the fact that I have a relatively lightweight scissors, knife, tweezers, and set of screwdrivers attached to my keychain makes it more than worth the price. Its presence is reassuring, and it's certainly come in handy several times.I have a pocket knife... somewhere. It was too bulky to actually put on my keychain or carry around in my pocket, but I don't have the same problem with the Micra. I haven't had any problems with any of the tools, either. The knife is sharp (much sharper than my pocket knife, even), the scissors are sharp and you get good leverage, and the tweezers are great. The prongs of the tweezers are attached separately at the base, not together, so you get a strong grip, much unlike the flimsy pull-out ones that come in a normal pocket knife. I suppose the scissors don't cut as quickly as normal scissors, since the blades aren't as long, but that hasn't bothered me. The only problem I have is that it collects pocket dust inside, like my pocket knife did while I lugged it around, but that's no big deal. Buy one now! And buy a second for when Father's Day rolls around.
