Tools and Hardware Reviews of Leatherman 64010101K Micra Multi-toolCustomer Review: Good buy for the money Summary: 4 Stars
The Leatherman Micra Multi-tool has been produced a long time. It is a nice pocket tool and since Leatherman has introduced a new small pocket tool "Squirt" the prices have fallen greatly. The major difference between this Leatherman small pocket tool and their "squirt" is thickness, the "Micra" being thinner and also tool access. With the "Micra", it needs to be unfolded to access the knife, screw drivers, etc. With the "Squirt" these are accessible while the tool is closed.
Also with the "Micra" the tweezers are attached, and with the "Squirt" they're not. To me, those features and that some models have pliers or wire cutters, instead of scissors seem to be the main selection decisions. Also the smooth finish on the outside of the "squirt" scratches easily and scratches don't show on the "Micra".
Customer Review: I like it Summary: 4 Stars
I've carried a Swiss Army Knife for over 20 years now, but I decided I wanted to try something a little smaller. This one seemed to fit the bill. The scissors is excellent. The knife works well too. The all-metal construction allows me to carry it in the same pocket with my keys, which I always avoided with the plastic-handled pocket knives. The only disadvantage is that using any of the tools requires unfolding the handles completely, which takes extra time.
Customer Review: Micra Multi Leatherman 1 Summary: 4 Stars
This is a great product; pocket size so it's easy to carry every day. It was a gift to my husband to replace the one he lost. It has a few differences from his old one, but it does come in handy -- every day.
Customer Review: Handy little tool Summary: 4 Stars
Nice little, very handy tool. Exactly the right size to put on your key chain.
Customer Review: micra Summary: 3 Stars
somewhat useful item i received as a gift.
PROS:
~very well built and sturdy to use.
~scissors are crazy strong, i have used them more than once to cut electric bass guitar strings in an emergency, this did knick up the blades a bit but a little file and stone work and they are good as new.
~knife blade can take a good edge and seems to hold it for a while..
~nice file, actually usable unlike most files like this.
CONS:
~tweezers are useless or i dont know how to use them.
~no can opener??? what? come on u gotta have a can opener on something like this.
~seems really heavy for such a small knife...they should make a Ti one maybe.
